Pretty Blue Jars For Less

I love giving you posts like this because I LOVE to help you save money!

I just got my new West Elm Catalog in the mail today. I'm loving so many things in this catalog but that’s for another post, maybe a My Style Monday:0) But anyways these super pretty glass jars caught my eye…

Love these for decorating bookshelves, kitchen  and perfect for adding texture and color. Plus I love glass:0)

 Detailed View

These recycled glass jugs come in SEVEN different colors and two different sizes. The smallest one will cost you19.00 and a large on will run you about 29.00.

But yes, I did find it for less at DOWNEASTHOME a sponsor here at APFU. They have similar jars for only 2.99 a piece:0) I have one in a light blue and one in a darker blue. I guess these little glasses were super popular this season because they only have blue in stock. For under 20.00 you can make yourself a pretty little collection of blue glasses. I used mine this Christmas but plan on using the blue in my kitchen. I ‘m hoping they get green and light blue back in stock SOON. Of course I will let you know!

I can tell you these glasses have a good weight to them and I’m so surprised that they only cost 2.99! SCORE. I love that light blue…and really want to see the green. Don’t you think a collection of them would look so pretty this spring?!

I have so much to blog about! Resolutions, blog goals, my new obsessions the iPAD and the Instagram app. I feel so behind because I’ve been stuck in VACA mode for the longest time! Slowly moving out of it now though.

This year is gonna be a great blogging year, I can feel it!

OH MAN, I keep staring at it AND petting it…….”helllllllooooo pretty pillow.” lol!

For some added shots of silver I draped this beaded garland over our Fireless Fireplace mantel!! At only 7.99 each I think it ties in with the silver bling pillows beautifully!

I {heart} DownEastBasics+Giveaway

Yes. I.Do!
If you haven't heard of this clothing/home décor company then let me tell ya about them! In a nutshell DownEastBasics is a clothing company that sells modest, fashionable and affordable and may I add WELL made clothing for women! Now don’t get all scared about the word modest. We aren't talking about turtle necks and jean skirts down to the ankle. We’re talking about  making sure body parts are in place and not accidently hanging out! It means at your next dinner party you wont have to worry about your skirt rising up in the back and giving everyone a peep show. It means your gonna be a lot more confident knowing you don’t have to worry about shifting and rising clothes!! These clothes are darling and show off all the features you WANT to flaunt!
I first heard of DownEastBasics on a blog. Not sure what blog, but it was definitely a blog:0) So I was so excited to be able to choose a few of their items to review! What I like about DownEastBasics is that they combine clothing and home! To me that is the perfect combination of retail. When your at HOME, you want to be comfortable AND you want your HOME to be comfortable too:0)
To be comfortable at HOME, I got a sweet cardigan and a cute ruffled tee! They had me a triple bow on the chest and ruffles on the sleeve! So cute right! I’m a sucker for both! I think they are darling and since it’s not always appropriate to put ruffles and bows around the home, especially when you have more boys than girls in the house:0) I love to adorn myself with them!  I almost always wear a cardigan. I just do. I started wearing them when I was a teacher and they have been a staple in my wardrobe ever since! That and I’m always COLD! This one in a blush pink is perfect with jeans and a white tee,but can also be worn with a skirt! Another favorite combo of mine! The fit is perfect. I ordered a medium and it fitted well in the arms:0) Nothing worse them your arms being squeezed to death by a too tight sweater! Lol!

Now the ruffled tee, I got  in a charcoal gray! This shirt is SOOOO comfortable! They had it in white too, should  have gotten both. It’s made with 100% cotton so it’s soft enough to sleep in. It has a stretchy sorta feel to it so it’s fitted and not baggy at all. Remember I wore it in this photo.. along with my Vintage Rose Wrap. Again throw it on with a pair of jeans and CUTENESS will happen!
To make my HOME comfortable, I got these cute itty bitty planters.
You remember seeing them on my table redo last week:0) Perfect for adding a small touch of greenery to a small space.

I’m really excited to be getting THESE in the mail soon! Boxwood Balls!!!! I’ve been looking for more of these everywhere! I originally picked some up from Hobby Lobby for my dining room….
But when I saw these at DownEastBasics for 50 percent off I ordered 5! The total came to a little over 9 bucks! With shipping 17. Fabulous deal guys!
